Is the BodyBugg worth the money?

This weeks review is on the calorie management system called the BodyBugg. My wife and I both purchased the BodyBugg some time back and found it to be a very useful tool to accurately tracking the amount of calories that our bodies burned in a day. Unfortunately you will still need to keep track of the number of calories consumed so keeping a food journal is a must. There is no way to sugar coat it, food journals are a lot of work. However if done properly with a system like the BodyBugg, the results will pay off in the long run.

You can read the full BodyBugg review here. I have outlined what I found to be the key advantages and some of the disadvantages with this device. I have also included the prices that we were faced with when we purchased our BodyBuggs.

All the best,
Gerlad

Crunchless Abs Review

Crunchless Abs is a series of workout videos and DVD's created by celebrity fitness trainer Linda LaRue. The videos focus on strengthening and toning the abdominal core with a series of exercises that exclude, no big surprise here, crunches. Now before anyone jumps on the bandwagon to start hating crunches, it is important to note that they are a good exercise for strengthening the abdominal muscles. The real issue with solely using crunches is that they do not work out all of the adnominal muscles. The DVD's take the workouts to a new level insuring that all areas of the abdomen and lower back are properly trained.

However, although the Crunchless Abs workouts aim to effectively train the entire core muscles, that is not to say that program does not have its faults too. The reviews for the workout videos are mixed and you might be surprised to find out what the number one complaint is. Be sure to read our entire summary for the Crunchless Abs review to find out if this is the right video for you.

Slendertone Flex Abdominal Belt Review

This past week we put together a review on the Slendertone Flex abdominal belt. The abdominal belt falls under the same categories as the Ab Energizer, Sauna Pro Belt and AbTronic. We are usually cautious about these types of exercise equipment because on the surface they appear to claim giving miraculous results with little or no effort at all (when in reality these belts never seem to live up to the expectations).

The Slendertone Flex belt however is is a different bread in its class, the first to be approved by the FDA, and doesn't make outrageous claims like some of its predecessors. We have collected numerous reviews for this belt and you can read our summary at the link below.

Until next time.
