Treadmill Comparisons

We have added number of new treadmill reviews lately and the best place to view them on our site is under our treadmill comparisons page. The treadmill reviews on the page have been broken down into individual sections that are based on the treadmill's price. For most of us price is always a factor when making a large purchase so this model seemed like the most logical way to sort our treadmill comparisons page.

The treadmill models that are linked, and have a star rating, on the page have a separate review page which goes into detail on what we did or did not like about that particular treadmill. For the models that are not linked the review pages will be added soon.

Bowflex TreadClimber Review

For those that have not seen the Bowflex TreadClimber it is a hybrid machine that is a treadmill, elliptical trainer and stair stepper. The TreadClimber comes in four different models (TC1000, TC3000, TC5000 and TC5300). The entry level model is the TC1000 which comes with a minimal programming features where the top-of-the-line model is the TC5300 which contains more features and a larger walking surface.

The Bowflex TreadClimber is moderately priced with the basic model costing around $1500. That price really is a great deal if you consider what it would cost you to buy a decent treadmill, stair stepper and elliptical trainner. However, many of the reviews that we have come across list some potential issues with the TreadClimber. Read our full Bowflex TreadClimber review to see what we do and do not like about these machines.

The FIRM Wave Review

The FIRM Wave is an interesting product that is produced by the successful FIRM Fitness Studio. At first glances the product seems nothing more than another exercise gimmick but when you take a closer look at what the WAVE has to offer it is quite impressive.

The Wave is designed for both cardio and strength training. It relies heavily on balance and over time develops the underused stabilizer muscles. The workouts are challenging and the product claims of seeing results within your first 10 workouts are realistic.

Read our full FIRM Wave review to see exactly while we like this exerciser.

All the best.

Smooth 6.45 Treadmill Review

Smooth Fitness puts out a lot of high quality treadmills and the Smooth 6.45 is an example of what a great mid-range treadmill should be. The newer treadmill has a longer deck then its predecessor, the Smooth 6.25 treadmill, and comes with better shock absorption on the running surface. For a limited Smooth Fitness is offering deals on their latest treadmill model.

We have recently put together a review for the 6.45 treadmill. Check out our Smooth 6.45 review page for the latest specs on this treadmill. We outline why we think this treadmill is such an attractive buy.

Bowflex Treadmill Review

Bowflex has been around since the mid-1980's and has received a great amount of popularity due to the design of their multifunction home gyms. Home gyms are not the only exercise equipment products that Bowflex produces. They also are responsible for the popular TreadClimber and several high qualitty treadmills.

Although the Bowflex brand does not offer a large variety of different treadmills compared to many of the other treadmill manufactures, what they do offer is not only well built but also aesthetically pleasuing to the eye. Read our full Bowflex treadmills review to see what we did and did not like. We have also included a list of features that the Bowflex line offers.

Precor Treadmills

Precor produces a variety of high-end treadmills for both the commercial and home environments. Their treadmills are very durable and designed for a lot of use and abuse. The Precor treadmills can be found in various health clubs across the nation (my health club is no exception). The cardio section of the gym that I belong to is lined up with all kinds of exercise equipment from the Precor brand. I have used them for years and Precor really does know how to make a quality exercise machine.

Read our full Precor treadmill review page to see what we do and do not like about this brand. They are expensive but in this case you do get what you pay for.

Weslo Treadmill Reviews

Weslo is a sister company to the very popular ProForm treadmill line. Both companies are a subsidiary of Icon Health and Fitness which also owns the Nordic Trac, Epic and Rebook brands. Weslo puts out some of the least expensive treadmills available today but if you have the extra money, and can only afford a budget treadmill, we recommend taking a closer look at the ProForm brand.

Proform Treadmills Review

The ProForm treadmills are an attractive buy due to their economical pricing. I personally own one of their older Crosswalk treadmills and it is more than ample enough to meet my needs. However, those that are the more serious runner types will be best suited looking at the mid to high-end treadmills. The ProForm treadmills really suit best those that plan to use them for walking or moderate use.

You can read the full ProForm treadmill review here to find out if this is the treadmill that will most likely meet your needs.

P90X Review

P90X is an extreme workout program that focuses on training the entire body. The program comes with 12 workout videos that cover everything from the chest to the arms and the back to the legs. The workouts even include cardio and yoga workouts to mix things up a bit.

Not only does P90X focus on your workouts but it also puts an emphasis on your diet too. This is a well balanced program that doesn't give you a bunch of lip service with embellished claims that do not produce results. Instead the P90X program is honest from the get go letting you know that it is not for everyone. It is designed for those that are willing to dig deep and sacrifice for the body of their dreams.

If you want to know if this program really works then we invite you to read our P90X review for additional details. We cover everything from the workouts to the nutrition program and list a few things that you should expext from this program.

Treadmill Reviews by Brand

We have made some design changes to the One4Fitness website and we are pretty excited for the new changes that are coming in the near future. One of the new pages that we are currently adding is a hub page for treadmill ratings by their individual brands. This page is still a work-in-progress and will be fully upudated in the near future.

The treadmill reviews by brand page will link to a review hub page for the different treadmill manufactures. For example, the review by brand page contains a link for the Smooth treadmills. The Smooth treadmill page will list a link for each one of the Smooth Fitness treadmills that have been reviewed. This is just one of the little changes that we have made to the website to help readers find the information that they are looking for. We will post more about our changes in the near future.

Body Vibes Review

Our latest reveiw is for the Body Vibes flex support belt. The once "As Seen on TV" product is no longer available but still can be acquired of of market places like eBay. The Body Vibes belt is designed give the abdominal muscles vibrations every time they relax or your posture becomes laxed. The concept behind the belt is that you will contract your abdominal muscles hence strenghtening the abs and burning away unwanted belly fat.

Our review was not favorable for this product. You can read why we saw this product as nothing more than a weight loss gimmick at One4Fitness.com. Those still determined to pick up one of these belts off of eBay or another similar market place will be glad to know that the belt does offer at least one benefit, it's just not weigth loss.

Smooth 5.45 Treadmill review

We are currently working on updating the Smooth treadmills review page with the latest models. We still have information on the older treadmills in case someone is trying to acquire one of the discontinued models off of eBay, Craiglist or something like that. Over the next month we will build out our reviews for the individual treadmills. We are kicking off our reviews with the Smooth 5.45 treadmill but will be adding many more reviews for a variety of brands in the near future.

For those that are not familiar with Smooth Fitness, they are known for producing quality treadmills at around a 40-45% savings to the customer. They are able to pass on those types of savings because they now only sell directly over the internet from the manufacture. If you have never heard of Smooth Fitness we recommend that you check them out. Our current reviews are for their treadmills but they are also known for their ellipticals and exercise bikes. We will be reviewing most of their products in the future but in the mean time you can read our Smooth 5.45 treadmill review here.

Ab Circle Pro Review

Our latest review covers one of the more recent "As Seen on TV" exercise gimmicks called the Ab Circle Pro. We do not have an issue with whether or not the exerciser actually works out the abdominal muscles, the real problem is with the bold claims on how this exercise equipment will reduce your stomach fat in just a matter of weeks.

Exercise gimmicks and fads have been around for a long time now and some of the claims advertised are just too good to be true. Anyone that has lost a great deal of body fat knows that it takes a very disciplined diet and hard work to achieve great results. The problem is that a lot of exercise equipment, like the Ab Circle Pro, promises the same type of results with very little effort at all.

You can read our full Ab Circle Pro review here. We cover in full detail on why we do not like this particular exercise equipment
