Bicep Shock Routine

A bicep shock routine that I have been using for years is called Twenty-ones. This exercise hurts and will get your biceps growing if you have run into a rutt and found your workout stales. You can read the full article by clicking here.

Does the Body Flex really work?

Greer Childers Body Flex program promises to melt inches of fat away, by using special breathing techniques, in only a couple weeks of use. The real question is whether or not the BodyFlex really works!

I have put together a review on the Body Flex which you can read here.

Free leg workout

I recently wrote an article on how I have added over one inch onto my legs in less than a month. I have been able to do all this in addition to having a recent pec tear (which required surgery). I'll put another article together later on my pec tear experience (for those of you interested) but I thought the leg workout was one worth sharing. You can read more details about the exact workout I use by clicking here.

Muscle Milk

In order for me to meet my required daily protein intake, protein shakes are a necessity. I try to get in six meals a day and one or two protein drinks a day really helps me reach that goal. I especially find it important to drink a protein drink right after my workout (usually also supplemented with Glutamine). My normal regime is to drink a shake 15 - 30 minutes after a workout and then around an hour later eat another meal.

Now if you are going to drink a protein drink, I have to say that Muscle Milk has to be one of the best, if not the best, tasting protein drink that I have tried. What is amazing about CytoSport's Muscle milk is that it tastes great with only one gram of sugar. Muscle Milk also comes in eleven different flavors so the chances of finding your favorite flavor are pretty high.

Workout Routine Overtraining

Overtraining is very common practice among gym rats and bodybuilders and a quick link to poor results, exhaustion and injury. There are a lot of people in the gyms these days that are overtraining and do not even know it. The key is to recognize the symptoms and the best ways to avoid overtraining. Gary Matthews has an article that goes into great detail about overtraining. You can read the full article here.

Labrada Nutrition ProV60 Review

My personal favorite protein shake is the Labrada Nutrition ProV60. Labrada is known for the quality of his products so I feel comfortable that the nutritional facts printed on the label accurately reflects the product. I personally have been using Labarda Nutrition products for over ten years now and believe that their protein shakes and MRP's are some of the best tasting and high quality proteins out there. You can read more about my review on the ProV60 by clicking on the link below.

Supplement Reviews

I am currently redesigning my Ironbodies site and have a new section for supplement reviews. I've been hitting the iron for some time and have personally tried a truck load of different supplements over the years. While some were great, other I felt were a complete waste of money. The supplement pages on Ironbodies is designed to give unbiased reviews for the different products that are available today. I have also included links to websites that I have found give the best deals on the supplements being reviewed. You can read more by clicking on the link below.
